Exotic Wedding in Thailand
September 29, 2008
The Kingdom of Thailand lies in the heart of Southeast Asia, making it a natural gateway to Indochina, Myanmar and Southern China. Its shape and geography divide into four natural regions; the mountains and forests of the North; the vast rice fields of the Central Plains; the semi-arid farm lands of the Northeast plateau; and the tropical islands and long coastline of the peninsula south.
Thailand constantly is winning awards for its tourism infrastructure, recently the Swedish travel publication, Travel News, presented the annual Grand Travel Award – the equivalent of the travel and tourism industry’s ‘Oscars’ – for the fifteenth consecutive year.
Thailand is increasing in popularity as a wedding destination as people seek more exotic environments and are able to hold more lavish receptions at luxury accommodation. There is nothing quite as touching as to play a part in someone’s wedding, and locations such as Koh Samui and Phuket offer stunning luxury villa rentals to accommodate such groups. Many villas are purposefully build to offer the best possible setting, secluded, romantic, and beautiful, surrounded by the deep blue ocean, and row after row of coconut palms.

Everything you need can you provided to make your wedding perfect, at only a fraction of the cost that you would pay in your home country. Ideas to help in choosing red flowers for wedding bouquets and arrangements. Tips for design and mixing of blooms.
Roses are the most popular wedding flowers and the rose is probably the first flower that comes to mind when you think red flowers. But there are many other flowers to choose from that will create striking bouquets and arrangements for a wedding. Tulips are in the top ten choices for wedding flowers. Red tulips can be combined with other red flowers, such as roses, to create a stunning bouquet. Other than the most common shape, tulips can be ruffled, fringed, or peony-like. Tulips can be solid color or variegated, having more than one color on the bloom.
Gerbera daisies have become popular as a wedding flower. The blooms can measure three to five inches across and work well in a bouquet or as a table decoration. Bright red gerbera daisies planted in small pots would be an attractive table decoration for a summer wedding. Dahlias are overlooked as a beautiful wedding flower. Dahlias range in size from two to ten inches in diameter. Dahlias can be pompom or ball shaped, double bloomed, cactus, or the exquisite water lily type. Simple calla lilies would complement these flowers in a bouquet.
Gladiolas seem to be used mostly for funerals and not as a wedding flower. That should change. Just a few red “Glads” added to a bridal bouquet of any other red flowers would be extremely eye catching. Gladiolas can have two to four feet stems, be ruffled, variegated, or solid color. Floor urns filled with these stately blooms would create a striking display. Red callas tied with a ribbon are stunning by themselves. Add just a few red roses and red hypericum for a unique bouquet. One calla lily in a vase makes a simple, yet elegant, table decoration.
