Summer wedding colors
Summer sun blows out pale colors and turns some greens grey. These palettes pick shades with enough pigment to hold on a beach or lawn at noon, and a neutral that does not go yellow in hard light.
Sage Green & Terracotta Wedding Colors
Terracotta is the main, used in dresses and the lead flower. Sage is the accent in foliage and ties, not a second dress color, or the two fight for attention in sun. Sand is the neutral, bark is the suit, and brass is the metal. Summer light washes sage out and makes terracotta orange if the swatch is too bright. These five are set a step darker than a spring garden palette so they still read at noon.
Lavender & Sage Wedding Colors
Lavender is the main dress color, a step deeper than lilac so it survives summer sun. Sage is the accent in foliage and ties. Cream is the neutral, slate is the suit, and pewter is the cool metal. This is a common summer combination that looks grey when both colors are too pale. The lavender here still has purple in it, and the sage still has green, so a photo can tell them apart.
Raspberry & Muted Rose Wedding Colors
Raspberry is the main, a clear pink-red for flowers and one dress option. Muted rose is the larger fabric color, dusty enough for a line of dresses in sun. Cream is the neutral, ink is the suit, and gold is the metal. Raspberry and muted rose have both been rising searches. They only work together if raspberry stays smaller. Two pinks at the same size look like a mismatch. Rose is the dress. Raspberry is the flower, the tie, and the envelope.
